Supporting Young Athletes in Somerset

Friday 24th June saw 130 people descend on Somerset County Cricket Club for the annual Somerset Sports Awards. Congratulations to all the winners especially those in the TS5C Young Sportsperson of the Year Award.

Liam Brown was crowned TS5C’s Young Sports Achiever of the Year Award at this year’s Somerset Sports Awards. The two runners up were 12 year old Aurelio Calipa from Street and 16 year old Callum Haines from Curry Rivel.

The shortlist for young sports achiever of the year has been released and the three athletes on the 2014 shortlist are Jaibez Macriner, Elliott Scott and Joshua Stevens. The winner will be announced at the SASP Somerset Sports Awards on June 6th. Congratulations to them all.
