Thank you TS5C for your continued support of Jamie’s Racing career. We really appreciate it.
After a family loss Jamie had taken a bit of a break from racing and now he is recovering from a bout of the flu. It’s taken it out of him but he’s hoping to get back to racing this week. Next year is going to be an interesting one!
It’s now the end of the racing season for Jamie. This was his first year of full time training and it has been hard not just physically but mentally too. Dragging yourself out of a warm bed to train on cold mornings is a real challenge for a teenager. He couldn’t have achieved what he has without the support of Weir Archer Academy and his amazing head coach Jenny Archer MBE. He doesn’t listen to many people but he listens to Jenny. This is the lady who got the best out of Dennis Wise, Vinnie Jones, And of course David Weir CBE. She really is an incredible motivator and caring too. Jamie has ended the season as 2nd in the UK in the 100m after only one year of full time training and that is a fantastic achievement. Bring on next year!
