The season is well under way and Jamie is steadily chipping away at last seasons PBs. He recently took part in the Typhoo Junior Disability Championships in Coventry, coming home with 3 Golds in the 100, 200 and 400m. He also now holds the Under 20's National records in the 400 and 800m in his classification. However, Jamie was over the moon to have been placed joint first by TS5C in the Young Sportsperson of the Year awards.
He also came runner up in the Outstanding Performance in Disability Sport Award. Since then he was also awarded a Young Citizen of the Year Award by the Rotary Club! Next week Jamie is attending a premiere in London for Channel 4 for the next Paralympics advert, which he played a small part in. Thank you so much to TS5C for their ongoing support, which has now enabled Jamie to put an order in for a stronger racing wheelchair to cope with his increasing power. There is a long waiting list but he should have it by the end of the year.
