TS5C Sponsored Athlete
The flagship fund has already benefited over 130 young athletes from Somerset in a variety of sports. TS5C sponsored athletes have already achieved significant results at both County and National level, and have competed for Team GB in international competitions.

This weekend was the annual BUCS nationals in Sheffield, which sees all university athletes compete. I swam in both the 200 and 400 individual medley events, as well as the 200 breaststroke and the medley relay, in which I swam the breaststroke leg.

In the 400 IM I came first, swimming the fastest time I have swum outside of a major championships, unrested.

I also added a bronze medal in the 200 IM after finishing joint 3rd, again swimming the fastest unrested time I have done.

These results mean I am British Universities champion both long and short course in the 400 IM, something which I did not expect in my first year; this underlines the positive changes I have made a Bath already.

Hopefully this shows promise, and I can better these performances in the coming months, as I head to Den Haag, the Netherlands, in April for the Swim Cup with the University of Bath team.

Thank you for your continued support of me over the years, it has helped me no end, and motivated me to improve my performances to justify this support.
