TS5C Sponsored Athlete
The flagship fund has already benefited over 130 young athletes from Somerset in a variety of sports. TS5C sponsored athletes have already achieved significant results at both County and National level, and have competed for Team GB in international competitions.

At British Universities Short Course National Championships I competed for Stirling University in the 50 and 100 metre breast stroke and the 50 and 100 metre butterfly. In the 50 and 100 breast I raced against double Olympian Craig Benson.

Zak recently competed in the British Swimming Championships held in Sheffield. He competed in the 50 and 100 metre breast stroke events and performed extremely well.

In the 50 metre Breast Stroke, he was delighted to win his first ever British National Title in a lifetime best time of 28:63.

In December 2016 Zak competed in the ASA Winter Nationals at Ponds Forge, Sheffield.

Zak is a national level swimmer, regularly making the finals at National Championships. In July 2016 he was placed 4th in the 100 Breaststroke Final at the British National Championships, and was the 2nd fastest qualifier in the 50 Breaststoke event before having to withdraw through illness.
