TS5C Sponsored Athlete
The flagship fund has already benefited over 130 young athletes from Somerset in a variety of sports. TS5C sponsored athletes have already achieved significant results at both County and National level, and have competed for Team GB in international competitions.

Another elite men final for me this past weekend in cyclopark Kent, for the last rounds of the 2017 national series. Thanks TS5C for the continued support.

The TS5C grant helps me reach my potential in bmx racing as it funds me to get to big events and helps with traveling costs like flights and hotels and is a huge help throughout my season.

This winter I'll be continuing with training so I can really step it up for next season and get some great results on a big stage.

After winning the British and nation championships this year, I have been back to work and training hard for the coming season (which started 2 weekends ago in Manchester indoor) and I have made the decision to step up this year to the elite men class to keep progressing.

A few weekends prior to the 1st national, I went for a training camp in Holland and the weekend just gone, I was training back in Manchester preparing for the UCI World Cup supercross. I have also changed teams and bikes and sponsors this year! So I am now on teh Ultimate BMX Team and riding for Yess Bicycles. As well as racing some of the world cup stops this year, I am also racing the full European series in my 2nd and final year of junior men.

I have been training 2 times a day and really pushing it when I am training.

The next race for me is the first European race of the season which is in Zolder, Belgium.

How did you first get involved in your sport?

I first got involved in bmx racing when me and my family was away camping in cheddar, I went to the bmx track they had on the camp site and had a little go and we found out about a race the same weekend on at Burnham on sea (which is my current club) and we went along to watch, and I was hooked from there.
