TS5C Sponsored Athlete
The flagship fund has already benefited over 130 young athletes from Somerset in a variety of sports. TS5C sponsored athletes have already achieved significant results at both County and National level, and have competed for Team GB in international competitions.

My 2016/17 season ended with an incredible experience - competing for Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival. The whole GB team met up on Friday 21st July at Bisham Abbey for kitting out, team building and educational sessions. After a training session at Hillingdon the following day, the swimmers met up with the rest of the team at Heathrow to fly out to Budapest.

Rachel Anderson, Weston’s most decorated swimmer in recent times, has been selected by the British Olympic Association to represent Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Gyor, Hungary. She gained selection for the 16-strong Great Britain swimming team on account of finishing fastest in the 200m freestyle event of all 2002/2003 birth girls at the qualifying trials, the British Championships in Sheffield in April.

TS5C is pleased to welcome swimmer Rachel Anderson to our fold. The 15 year old from Street has represented England twice at International meets winning an individual Gold in the 400m freestyle in 2016.
