Corey has started 2017 with some great news as he has been named as one of just two junior trampoline gymnasts to train as part of both the World Age Group squad (WAGC) and the 'Trampoline Olympic Potential' Squad.(TOP) for Tokyo 2020.
Corey, who turns 16 in February, will continue to train with his Personal Coach, Sue Bramble ; a former international performer and Great Britain coach; at Quayside Trampoline & Gymnastics Club based in Bridgwater and WAGC training at Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Telford. He will also travel to Northampton twice a month to train with the Olympic coaching team.
This selection is testament to Corey's determination to succeed after a year out of competition due to a fractured Navicular bone in his foot which put him through months of rehabilitation and set backs. Now however the hard work is paying off as he comes back to a full national and international competition
